AMERICAN INDOOR ADVERTISING, INC. (AIAI) established in 1988, is the oldest indoor advertising company in the United States. This year marks our 20th Anniversary of providing marketing and display advertising services at restaurants, microbreweries, sports bars, pubs, taverns, comedy clubs, night clubs, theaters and casinos. Our core business was built on large local and regional advertisers purchasing advertising signage at hundreds of restaurants and bars in each market that we serve. AIAI is the only indoor advertising company in the nation that employs our proprietary advertising model. Our Indoor Billboards have a total of six ad spaces on them. We post our displays at hundreds of venues in each market and then we post the same six ads on every Indoor Billboard throughout the entire metropolitan area. Our model is similar to buying an ad on every outdoor billboard throughout an entire city. This model enables our advertisers to virtually blanket each metropolitan area with their advertising message. The local population in each market sees the same six ads, on every Indoor Billboard, numerous times each month, as they patronize hundreds of different venues for lunches, dinners, business meetings and happy hours or to celebrate special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, bat mitzvahs, corporate events, etc... Most importantly, with indoor advertising consumers are typically in a positive state of mind, they are physically idle and yet they are mentally engaged, while they read your ads for 1 to 3 minutes per impression. Virtually the longest impression time of all traditional media! We post two sets of advertising displays at our host venues:
Federal and State Tied-House laws prohibit Suppliers of alcoholic beverages from paying inducements to Retailers (restaurants and bars) for the rights to post advertising signs on their premises. In 2005, AIAI secured approvals from 44 state liquor licensing and enforcement agencies for the right to advertise alcoholic beverages at Retail accounts. In 2006, AIAI began placing “Beverage Board” displays advertising SPIRITS on the premises of restaurants and bars in seven West Coast markets. Our network has been expanding so well, that we are now adding 18 new markets, thus offering our advertisers signage in the top 25 US markets. Over the past two years, AIAI invested millions of dollars fine-tuning several pieces to this on-premise advertising puzzle.
